Job Summary:
Shilu ANA, a growing ride-hailing application based in Tanzania, is seeking a talented and creative Graphic Designer & Video Animator to join our team in Dar es Salaam. This role will be crucial in developing visually engaging content for our brand across various platforms, enhancing user experience, and supporting our marketing efforts. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of design principles, proficiency in relevant software, and the ability to translate ideas into compelling visuals and animations.

- Work Location: Based in our office in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
- Compensation: Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
- Working Hours: Regular office hours, with potential for occasional overtime depending on project needs.
- Reporting To: Country Manager
- Probation Period: Three Months
Qualifications:
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Multimedia Design, Animation, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent professional experience may be considered.
- Experience:
- Proven experience (two years) as a Graphic Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing design skills in branding, marketing materials (digital and print), and user interface elements.
- Demonstrable experience (two years) in video animation, including storyboarding, creating motion graphics, character animation , and video editing.
- Technical Skills:
- Graphic Design: Proficiency in industry-standard software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. Familiarity with other design tools is a plus.
- Video Animation: Expertise in animation software such as Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar. Knowledge of 2D/3D animation techniques.
- UI/UX Design (Advantageous): Understanding of user interface and user experience principles to contribute to the app’s visual design and usability.
- Motion Graphics: Ability to create engaging motion graphics for social media, marketing videos, and in-app visuals.
- Video Editing: Proficient in video editing techniques, including trimming, transitions, adding text, music, and effects.
